Class sizes are kept small (not just small ratios), so that each student is able receive the attention they deserve. Learning is supported at each child's own pace, academically, social-emotionally, and physically. Small classes allow for individualized attention. We are able to help every student expand their knowledge, develop new skills, and experience learning in a way that fits who they are.
While the public schools scramble to retain gym class funding, Ko12 Elementary students are on the move every day! Research shows that movement helps students retain learning. Ko12 Kids get "Structure and Play, throughout the day." In other words, students get multiple sessions of study interspersed with multiple sessions of play in a large playroom located just outside of each classroom door.
We deliver a unique blend of instructional techniques that engages the whole person. Ko12 students develop a love of learning. They graduate with confidence in themselves, with skills to develop friendships, and with advanced academic abilities. Public school teachers are pleasantly impressed by Ko12 graduates.
The school day is filled with project-based activities, classroom instruction, and real-world experiences (both in school and in the community).

KO12 Kids is building a community with friendships and positive relationships using a unique blend of structure and play that brings together the best of direct instruction, play, and themed, project-learning. A curriculum that gets kids excited about learning and creates a desire for life long learning!
The role of free play in education is often underestimated, which is why recess and gym are often the first programs cut in a public school budget. Ko12 kids have both indoor or outdoor play time built into the curriculum throughout the day everyday. Play recharges young minds. Play is an opportunity for kids to develop social skills, build relationships, and practice kindness.
You learned about sharing, taking turns, and being kind in Kindergarten. We reinforce these values within a creative academic curriculum. Since Kindergarten is your child's first introduction to elementary school we've created a solid foundation for learning with play mixed in throughout day. It keeps kids motivated, interested, and excited about learning.
Ko12 Kids are highly prepared for their next grade.
Whether your child continues in our 1st and 2nd grade, when they graduate, Ko12 students are ready and eager to learn and grow to be their best!
